I have paid the membership fees, does this make me an active member?
The short answer is no. Paying membership fees gives you access to all the benefits UHPPA has to offer. 'Active Member' status is only obtained after one has accumulated a total of 25 points through participation in club activities.
I have achieved 'Active Member' status, does this guarantee my admission to the UHCOP?
No, the UHPPA does not have the authority
to guarantee admission to any pharmacy school including the UHCOP. A list of active
members will be submitted to the UHCOP
Admissions Committee at the end of each
semester. This is only to assist in making your
pharmacy school applications look more
appealing.
I am not interested in applying to pharmacy school, can I still join the UHPPA?
Of course! Whether you are ready to apply to pharmacy school, interested in pharmacy, or just looking for a supportive community to have fun with, the UHPPA welcomes you with open arms.
I have accommodations with the Dart Center, can I use them for UHPPA?
Absolutely! Please have your accommodations advisor reach out to us via email. If comfortable, you may also reach out to any of the officers regarding any assistance you may need.
