Ice Breaker for 2009-2010

The term "ice breaker" is a noun/verb combination used to describe someone who breaks ice. In this post, I will use the term in a figurative sense. For those of you who are confused, the ice is acting as a barrier that is preventing our forum from being active.

My name is Jimmy Kao (most pronounce it cow so I've just adopted that instead) and this is my 2nd year at UH.

I'm pretty normal I guess o_o

I can't really pick ONE sport cause I like playing paintball, gaming (if that counts), basketball, and table tennis. ANDDDD I glowstring as a hobby since there is no question about hobbies.

Pay off all my school tuition, get me a Mini-Cooper type S, computer stuff, paintball stuff, a decent sized plasma, and a PS3.

1. What's your name and how many years have you been at UH?
I'm Anthony Vu. I have been going to UH for about 2-3 years since I am a junior this fall.

2. Describe yourself.
I am smart (most of my friends think of me in that way), intelligent, handsome, nice, quiet, knowledgable, etc. (which I forgot to list these descriptions).

3. What's your favorite sport?
I have many favorite sports. One of them is primary basketball during my childhood, but now tennis is my current sport.

4. If you had $100,000 how would you spend it?
I spend it to obviously college tuition and stuffs. I also want to spent some moneys for important charities plus family stuffs.

5. Which branch of Pharmacy are you most interested in?
I am not really sure about that question. I was thinking of having an interest in retail, hospital, or any branch of pharmacy that would make my life easier to manage myself before taking care of patients and others.

Vanilla, because it is the most popular ice cream flavor of all time.

My favorite book is to read Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell. My favorite movie is to watch Titanic (1997).

I would rather take the long way fast when going to classes that are really far away from the start point since I need to walk fast for exercise.

I would say that any type of orange soda motivates me from avoiding sleep.

I have autism, a type of mental disability that affects my entire life since childhood. Therefore, nobody (even my friends) would realize the true nature of human mankind to me.

I have no phobia except things that are very near to me mostly.

1. What's your name and how many years have you been at UH?
Prasanti is my name. I have been at UH for only about a month. I am a Freshman in college and this is my first semester of college.

2. Describe yourself
I am 18 years old. I am going to University of Houston because I would like graduate and apply to the College of Pharmacy. My dream job is being a Pharmacist. I am already a Pharmacy Technician, and might begin working next month at a Retail Pharmacy. I live in Humble, Texas and commute to the University of Houston. I was in Health Occupations Students of America for 3years, 2years as a member and 1year as a seceratary. I have done plenty of community service with in HOSA, especailly working at the blood drives.

3. What's your favorite sport?
Well I really don't have a favorite, but I watch Soccer and Basketball sometimes

4. If you had $100,000 how would you spend it?
First I would buy my parents a new car, then myself a new car, then I would get a new phone... The rest I would invest.

Retail, since I have already gone on rotations, and I liked the environment.

I would be strawberry, because it sounds sweet and innocent, but at times can be sour

My favorite movie is Kambakkht Ishq, a Bollywood movie.

1. What's your name and how many years have you been at UH?
My name is Stephanie Trieu, and I have been at UH for 2 years, going on 3 right now.

2. Describe yourself.
Hm... I'm a quiet person, but, once you get to know me and I get to know you better, I can be pretty random at times. =P

3. What's your favorite sport?
I don't have a particular favorite sport, but I like playing Soccer, Volleyball, Tennis (even if I stink at it XD), and Badminton for the most part.

4. If you had $100,000 how would you spend it?
I'd give my family, mainly my parents about a 90% share of it, and I'll keep the rest for savings or something.

5. Which branch of Pharmacy are you most interested in?
Still trying to figure that part out, but I'll most likely go into the retail branch for the sake of being close to home to take care of family.

6. If you could be an ice cream flavor, what would it be? Why?
I don't know which flavor I'd be. However, if I had to choose one, it'd be Neapolitan because the three flavors of chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla all in one ice cream kind of shows how I can get along with just about everyone that I meet.

So many movies and books, it's hard to just pick one. XD Well, it'd probably have to be Howl's Moving Castle for a movie. As for books, my favorite would have to be Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

9. If you could be any cartoon character, who would you be?
I would be Kunimitsu Tezuka from Prince of Tennis because of his ability to carry himself. I admire his characteristics of being a leader, and he always looks out for the best for his tennis team. I want to be a leader like him, and be able to stay strong even in the worst of situations.

No, but I love my veggies.

Short way slow just to enjoy my surroundings. Kind of like stopping to smell the roses.
