Fall 09 Here We Come!

The next semester is right around the corner and I hope everyone is having an exciting summer! The Officers of PPA have been working hard to plan this year’s schedule and hope to bring you a PPA that’s even bigger and better than last year!
A couple of announcements:
1. Our first meeting will be on September 3rd at 6pm in the Houston Room in the upstairs of the UC center. We will be taking up membership applications and dues, providing general PPA info for new members, as well as announcing upcoming events and plans for this year. Membership dues will be discounted to $25 until the third general PPA meeting on September 28th.

2. The JDRF Walk (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) has been added to our calendar. Online registration is available on our Event Details & Registration page
- Date: Saturday September 26th
- Time: 6am – 10am (Members will get extra points for staying afterwards to clean up.)
- Location: Reliant Park
- Points: 4 points to attend plus 1 point for wearing PPA t-shirt and 1 point for providing carpool for the other members (6 points max).

I really want to join this but i have class every thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 so how can i go to the meeting?

The meeting and guest speakers will probably last till around 8pm and we will also be around afterwords for any questions that you still have.
So come by after your class and we will be more than happy to accommodate you!
Also, not all of our meetings will be on Thursdays.
