Please note, registration is first come, first serve with limited spots. Those who sign up after the needed number of volunteers will be wait-listed in the event another member is unable to attend. Cancellations must be made by e-mailing uofhppa.secretary@gmail.com at least 72 hours in advance. Cancellations after, or no-shows will incur a deduction of half the points that would have been earned at the event. For more information see General Points Information.

Individual Projects

You may earn 1 PPA point for every hour (10 points maximum per school year) volunteering for any non-profit organization, hospitals, or the Houston Food Bank for each school year.
An official letter from the organization stating the hours that you volunteer must be submitted to the secretary to receive points, who can be reached by email uofhppa.secretary@gmail.com

Cougar Cards

1 point will be given for every 10 unique cards that are collected and registered at the end of each semester. A maximum of 6 total points will be awarded for the entire academic school year.
