Upcoming Group Volunteer Events

 If you sign up for a group event and find out you are no longer able to make it, please e-mail us at uofhppa@gmail.com at least 12 hours before the event to cancel so we don’t have to wait for you at 5-6am in the morning to see if you are coming or not. Thank you guys again so much for giving up your time and service to community!!!! We greatly appreciate it!!!

  AIDS Walk

• Date: Sunday, March 14th
• Time: 10am-12pm (subject to change)
• Location: Sam Houston Park Downtown (Allen Parkway and Bagby)
• Points: 4 points to attend plus 1 point for wearing PPA t-shirt and 1 point for providing carpool for the other members (6 points max).
• What to wear: PPA T-shirt and jeans/shorts with tennis shoes. No short shorts or baggy shorts!!!!!
• Carpool: We will all meet at the Parking Lot 1A in front of the Moody Towers at 9am and leave at 9:25am. Please do not plan on arriving exactly at 9:25am. We will not be waiting if you come late. Anyone who provides carpool will receive a point and will receive all the information about transportation, parking, and carpool the day of the event

• Location: Discovery Green
• Points: 4 points to attend plus 1 for wearing PPA T-shirt and 1 point for providing carpool (6 points max).

Individual Projects

Houston Food Bank

You may earn points from the Houston Food Bank on any day that they allow volunteers. Towards the end of the semester, when we tally everyone’s points we will ask that you turn in a letter from the Houston Food Bank regarding how many hours you have volunteered and we will adjust your points accordingly.
